I’ve always thought who I am doesn’t matter; what I’ve done might.
Fifteen years ago I was thirty-six. Fat, sedentary, asthmatic, twenty years a smoker. I started walking at night after the baby went to bed. Ten minutes, then thirty, then an hour. Six months later I finished a marathon. I walked every step of it. Seven hours eighteen minutes.
I haven’t stopped. Last year it was an Ironman. This year an injury took my sport away, so at fifty-one I am starting again in a different one, from nothing, slow and clumsy and in public.
Somewhere in there I got licensed in NLP and began coaching, one person at a time. One of them walked into a CEO interview on a reframe we built together and got the job. I have kept a journal for seven years. I read it. Most of what I know came from there.
Everyone else sells fast. Four weeks to this. Thirty days to that. Instant. What I do is slower, it changes who you think you are, and the results turn up after that. And they stay.
If you have decided it’s too late for you, it isn’t.
One session. Ninety minutes. Two hundred dollars. Tell me who you are. We’ll work out who you want to be, and how to get there. If we both want to keep going, four more sessions for twelve hundred.
The first session won’t change your life. It’s where we find out if the next fifteen years will.
