This is Mark 4. It is driven directly by a stepper, and Star Wars themed. Completed in 2013. I still have and use this.
This was Mk3, made of Lego and had a rubber belt drive. As the belt loosened over time, the movement of the watch carrier became wonky.

Mark 2 had laser cut acrylic gears, which made a racket. Abandoned.
Mark 1 was my first foray into Arduino’s back in 2010. Don’t laugh.
